Trina Marie Stoudt was driving a 2004 Honda Civic when she traveled off I-81 north near Exit 100 by the Lebanon-Schuylkill County line, according to state police.
Upon investigation, police found that she hit a metal grate, then went eight feet down an embankment, breaking off tree branches along the way.
The vehicle ended up facing west without the airbags deploying, and Stoudt— who was not wearing a seat belt—"landed in the left lane of travel," the police state in the release.
She suffered numerous traumatic injuries— including a fatal blow to the head, as detailed in the release.
The accident is believed to be due to Stoudt driving under the influence of a controlled substance, according to the release. During the ingestion police also found multiple open alcoholic beverages and marijuana in the Civic.
Trina was born in Reading on Dec. 26, 1999. She was a class of 2018 graduate of North Schuylkill High School, who went on to attend Kutztown University majoring in Communications; with a minor in Economics, as detailed in her obituary.
"She was an aspiring model, social media influencer, and had a following that reached all across the country. She was employed at Compass Rose and the Pine Grove Diner," according to her obituary.
She previously worked at Anthony's Pizza for five years, as the company wrote in a Facebook post.
She is survived by her parents Keith Stoudt of Reading and Tina Wagner of Frackville; siblings, Trisha Wagner and Teigan Brokenshire; grandparents, Wendy Strupp, Theresa McFadden, and Daniel Stoudt; aunt, Tabitha Strupp; nephews, Jaq’sire and Xavion; cousins, Chey and Sage; and her beloved cat Mauvie, as stated in her obituary.
"Trina will be remembered for her love of people. She brightened everyone’s day and touched so many lives in a positive way," as written in her obituary.
Services for Trina will be held privately at the request of the family and will be facilitated by The Dimon Funeral Home & Cremation Services Inc., Tower City, according to her obituary.
